Born in 1975, Imran Amed is the Founder, CEO, and Editor-in-Chief of Business of Fashion (BoF), an online media platform for global fashion insights.
A Canadian-British entrepreneur with a background in business and a passion for creativity, Imran launched BoF in 2007 as a personal blog, which has since evolved into a respected industry authority with millions of followers.
In 2017, he was appointed a Member of the Order of the British Empire (MBE) by Queen Elizabeth II for his services to the fashion industry. BoF continued to experience impressive growth in 2019 through a collaborative partnership with the Financial Times which led a Series B investment round in The Business of Fashion.
Imran holds an MBA from the prestigious Harvard Business School and a Bachelor of Commerce from McGill University.
