Transforming fine jewelry with a modern, self-purchasing mindset.
A third-generation jeweler from Amman, Jordan, Noura Sakkijha is the co-founder and CEO of Mejuri, the Canadian fine jewelry brand that has redefined luxury with a direct-to-consumer model and a self-purchasing mindset.
She launched Mejuri in 2013 with her husband, Majed Masad, initially crowdsourcing designs globally before pivoting in 2015 to establish the brand’s own fine jewelry collections.
With a degree in industrial engineering and an MBA from Ryerson University, Sakkijha previously worked as a Processing Engineer at CIBC before fully embracing entrepreneurship.
Blending craftsmanship, digital-first innovation, and a fashion-inspired drop model, Mejuri has raised $100M+, opened 20+ showrooms, and built a cult-like following. Worn by Selena Gomez, Hailey Bieber, Ariana Grande, the Princess of Wales, and Oprah, Mejuri leads the industry in everyday luxury, proving fine jewelry isn’t just a gift—it’s a statement of self.
Sakkijha also serves as a board member for Goodwill Toronto, supporting social impact initiatives.
