Louis Ferla
CEO, Cartier
Switzerland
Cultural acumen meets craftsmanship at Cartier.
Louis Ferla is a seasoned luxury executive with a deep-rooted passion for craftsmanship and a profound connection to Asian markets.
His fascination with Asia shaped the first 17 years of his career. After beginning his professional journey at Alfred Dunhill in Hong Kong, he transitioned into the world of high jewelry and luxury watches. His ascent at Cartier was swift—from leading its Taiwan subsidiary to serving as Regional Director for the Middle East, Africa, and India, before being appointed Chairman & CEO of Cartier China.
In 2017, he took the helm at Vacheron Constantin, where he led the legendary watchmaker past €1 billion in annual sales. Now, with over two decades at Richemont, he steps into his latest chapter as CEO of Cartier, a position he assumed in September 2024.
